- Staffed by 1,234 employees; 449 volunteers and 219 physicians
- 5,167 admissions; 886 deliveries; 24,113 emergency visits; 15,374 home health visits;
20,604 hospice days; 255,205 outpatient visits
- Administered more than 824 free flu shots at community events
- Provided 369 low-cost health screenings through Community Wellness
Health Alert Screenings
- Hosted two survivorship celebrations for cancer survivors, each
attended by more than 100 survivors and caregivers
- Delivered 22,311 meals to homebound residents
- Hosted a Health and Safety Expo featuring 40 vendors and drawing
more than 700 community members
- Conducted the Gift of Giving Campaign, which donated 264 gift
baskets to feed needy families during Thanksgiving
- Participated in the 12th annual Angel Tree Gift Giving Campaign,
providing Christmas gifts to 200 area children
- Hospital volunteers contributed more than 68,030 hours of service
- Maintained 288 Lifeline monitoring systems for elderly/disabled
in community
- Provided $25,435,048 for community health development
- Completed a new 13,676 square-foot Outpatient Surgery Center,
offering 18 patient preparatory rooms
- Opened three hospital-based outpatient clinics: Feather River Total
Women’s Health, Feather River Surgical Services and Feather River
Primary Care
- Received an Aster Award in an international competition for
communications excellence, for a billboard titled “Hip, Hip Hooray,”
advertising the hospital’s Joint Replacement Center; received a
second, silver award for the hospital employee newsletter
- Acquired several awards from Healthgrades, including a 10th
consecutive Five-Star rating for treatment of sepsis. Also ranked in
the top 10 percent nationally for treatment of stroke and
pulmonary services
- The Cancer Center was awarded three-year accreditation with seven
marks of commendation from the American College of Surgeons
Commission on Cancer. The award is the highest level offered
- Became the first hospital in the area to offer 4-D cardiac imaging,
with the purchase of new cardiac ultrasound technology
- Recognized by the National Research Corporation as a 2013
