- The NCN Centers for Pain Relief hosted educational series in Mendocino
and Lake counties on treatment options for chronic pain
- Offered diabetes, heart health, smoking cessation, childbirth, first aid,
and many other educational classes to promote healthy living in Lake,
Mendocino, and Napa counties
- Partnered with a coalition of community and non-profit organizations
to provide free health screenings to more than 400 children and their
families at the annual Children’s Health Fair
- Awarded $60,000 to the Mendocino College nursing program
- Sponsored Mendocino College’s first annual Soccer Academy for more
than 350 children, to provide physical activity, improve social skills,
develop motor skills, promote group activity and have fun
