- Operated by Adventist Health since 1973; lease renewed through 2045
- Services include: 24-hour ambulance and emergency services, clinical outpatient therapy
services, imaging, laboratory, medical and surgical services, intensive care, obstetrics,
rehabilitation, home care, hospice and five rural health clinics
- Staffed by more than 50 physicians and providers; 375 employees and 100 volunteers
- 942 admissions; 166 deliveries; 9,186 emergency visits; 7,631 home health visits;
4,729 hospice days; 37,816 outpatient visits
- Promoted children’s health by providing free vaccinations and health
screenings to 200 preschool-aged children at a county-wide health fair
- Facilitated 101 health classes and screenings for 2,834 people. Included
seminars on lifestyle, diabetes, depression and the Complete Health
Improvement Program (CHIP)
- Assisted more than 100 community members with cognitive and
physical disabilities through 3,700 hours of in-home volunteer and
respite day center activities
- Hosted a two-day health fair with 15 community agencies during the
Tillamook County Fair, and partnered with Oregon Health and Science
University to provide more than 463 wellness screenings; hosted first
aid booth for four days of the fair and engaged the community through
a variety of informational and gift items
- Hosted a picnic in south Tillamook County and served a BBQ lunch to
approximately 400 community members
- Sponsored a Medical Teams International mobile dental van to serve
47 people with acute dental needs and no funds
- Participated in community coalitions for breast health, diabetes,
underage alcohol/drug abuse prevention, United Way, service clubs,
career fairs and senior meal sites
- Offered SuperFit Family Challenge to: 12 local families, to fight
childhood obesity
- Providers and governing board members declined their Christmas
gifts in lieu of a donation to the local food bank, providing 3,600
pounds of produce to needy families during the holidays
- Provided $10,833,800 for community health development
- Changed our name from Tillamook County General Hospital to
Tillamook Regional Medical Center, representing the evolution from
a single-site hospital to an ambulatory/community-based health care
service spanning the entire county
- Completed construction on 20,000 square-foot Tillamook Medical
Plaza. Opened in May, the facility provides new services including
urgent care and occupational health care
- Opened two rural health clinics in southern Tillamook and north
Lincoln counties, offering primary, specialty and urgent care. Clinics
now serve communities along 71 miles of the northern Oregon coast
- Recognized among the 2013 Home Care Elite for the sixth
consecutive year
- Surgery department launched the Vein Ablation Program
- Awarded Tier 3 Patient-Centered Primary Care Home designation for
rural health clinics by Oregon Health Authority
- Welcomed eight new providers to the medical staff: three physicians,
two adult nurse practitioners and three physician assistants
- Promoted health care professions by providing clinical experience
for 11 nursing students and offering 15 internships in clinics,
emergency medical services, laboratory, radiology, nutritional care,
and rehabilitation
- Received an Adventist Health Innovations grant for $30,000 and
launched a nurse navigator program for patients with breast cancer
